How do I upgrade Xcode version 2.5 to the current version?

- Download the last version (available at developer.apple.com; free ADC account required).
- Uninstall the 2.5 version (optional but highly recommended); (sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools --mode=all)
- Install the new one (open downloaded disk image, double click the Xcode package, and follow instructions).

1) You don't need to uninstall Xcode 2.5, just move it to a separate location. It can still be used on Leopard.
2) Xcode 3.0 and later require Leopard.  There is no upgrade for Xcode 2.5 on Tiger (10.4) systems.
