Well, a long time ago I somehow changed the __MyCompany__ you get at
the top of a new file. It works. My company name shows every time I
create a new file.
Now I want to use that setting for something else, but for life of me
can't find where the setting is.
Xcode documentation and list archives tell me that it is a the value
for key ORGANIZATIONNAME in a dictionary named
PBXCustomTemplateMacroDefinitions in my user defaults. Well, I sure
can't find it in either ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.xcode.plist
or /Library/Preferences/com.apple.xcode.plist. And neither can the
'defaults' command-line tool:
Jerrys-Mac-Mini:~ jk$ defaults read com.apple.Xcode
PBXCustomTemplateMacroDefinitions -dict ORGANIZATIONNAME
2008-11-17 19:13:26.636 defaults[10546:10b]
The domain/default pair of (com.apple.Xcode,
PBXCustomTemplateMacroDefinitions) does not exist
I also checked the template files in /Developer/Library/Xcode/File
Templates, but those still have the placeholders «ORGANIZATIONNAME».
Where else could ORGANIZATIONNAME have been set?
