I have a small project with ten source files in Xcode 3.1.1. Preparing to copy the project to another machine, I did a [Build / Clean All Targets] with the boxes checked for Dependencies and Precompiled Headers, it ran and said "Clean succeeded". When I made the copy I was surprised that it was about 6MB. Almost all of that is in the Build folder.
Shouldn't the Build folder be mostly empty after a Clean?

Not if you do not clean all configurations (Debug, Release), and I think it also store the project index in the build folder.
