Icons upside down in Interface Builder 2.5.6

Is it normal and intended that Interface Builder 2.5.6 shows the [alt] key symbol for menu keyboard shortcuts upside down when you edit e.g. MainMenu.nib?

When I choose 'Test Interface', the symbol is shown correctly (beginning in upper left corner instead of bottom left corner)?
