In my preferences under 3.0 I (tediously) set up custom syntax- dependent
font/color settings, and I want to import those settings on another machine

I tried quitting Xcode on the destination machine and copying my
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Xcode.plist file to the second Mac. Then I
restarted Xcode on that Mac. Result: it seems to disregard my font/ color
settings, substituting instead the default settings. The timestamp on the
file clearly shows that the file from the other system was brought over.

In addition to the preference file, try to also copy over:

	~/L/AS/Xcode
