I would think if xcode-select is not present, you can assume it's /
Developer. If xcode-select *is* present, there may by definition be
multiple locations and it's up to you to decide if the one it gives is
the one you want.

Hello,
I want my shell scripts to be as flexible as Xcode, and therefore
not assume any location for the /Developer folder.
What is the best practice to find the items?
/usr/bin/xcode-select -print-path seems only present if the command
line tools have been installed.
Is there an environment variable, or mdfind query to give me the
(most likely) selected and active Xcode installation?
Thanks
Alex
