I'm wondering if any one of you ever run into a problem that tree

The MAC application is developped in XCode 3.1 for i386 Intel
MacOS, and it should show a tree view of all the folder in user's
home directory. For some reason, the tree view content is
populating at all in MacOS 10.4.8 Intel CPU with hosttype=powerpc.
This happens consistantly in all 3 of 10.4.x iMAC Intel dual core
CPU. When I type set in Terminal window, I saw hosttype=powerpc.
Is there any way to see if any library is missing in 10.4.8? I
tried to install XCode in 10.4.8, but it failed to open "Xcode
Tools.mpkg".
I'm not clear whether you're having a problem with Xcode, or with
your own application. If it's the latter, you're better off asking on
a mailing list related to the framework you're using (possibly Cocoa
or Carbon, though neither have "tree views" which might be Java or
Windows).
It's also not clear if your app is launching at all -- if not, you
need to make sure you have a release build and that it's universal.
I'm pretty sure you need Xcode 2.5 if you're running under 10.4.
