A recent stream discussed the latest Xcode version available. I see
that this latest version mentioned, release 9M2517, is associated

Is there a difference between the two different release
distributions? Does the Mac OS X release have tools or utilities
not available through the iPhone distro and visa-versa?
???
The About Xcode 3.1.1 Tools PDF file, available in the Download
section of ADC <http://connect.apple.com/>, states:
"You do not need to install this package if you have already installed
the iPhone SDK for iPhone OS 2.1. The complete Xcode developer tools
are included as part of the iPhone SDK installation (download
available separately)."
Given that, I'd assume that, as far as Xcode 3.1.1 and its associated
non-iPhone-specific components, the version available from ADC is the
same as the current iPhone SDK version.
