Xcode - how to use gcc/g++ 4.2

  • Subject: Xcode - how to use gcc/g++ 4.2

When resetting the compiler in a Project to 4.2, I get the following error in a build (c++)
error: current namespace 'std' does not enclose strongly used namespace '__gnu_debug_def'

This occurs in debug builds.

The culprit is a system provided configuration file for g++ 4.0

How can I build a project with 4.2?
