Hey Stéphane -
It is a known bug. Layout rectangles in Interface Builder 2.5.6 on
Tiger should show up correctly. They also work with the 3.x releases
of IB on Leopard. If there are problems with IB 3.x that are keeping
you from updating, it would be great to file those.
