Hi Chris and Bill,
Thanks for replying to my e-mail.
Regarding the Intel based Mac requirement for iPhone SDK, I read some blogs where, they had provided some tweaks to install sdk on PowerPC.

I am new to MAC and I am trying to install iPhone SDK 2.2.1.
I did all the steps very well, but when it is Prebinding it is very long time. It has taken already some 4 hours, still in no progress.
Wondering if it got struck!!!!!!
Any idea how much time it might take?? or do I need to try something else.
Help greatly Appreciated!!!!!!!
My System Configuration:
Memory: 512 MB
MAC OS-X 10.3.9
Processor: 500MHz PowerPC G3
I'm really surprised that you got that far.
iPhone development requires:
- an Intel processor. You cannot develop with a PowerPC.
- Mac OS X 10.5.6. It requires this version of Mac OS X to communicate with the iPhone.
- 1Gb RAM. You will not have a successful experience developing for iPhone on a 512Mb machine.
Chris
