Editor windows with title bar offscreen

| Occasionally,when I have a file open in Xcode (3.1.2) through some unknown sequence of events I wind up with the editor window's title bar offscreen and I can't move the window back onscreen. Neither close/reopen of the project, quit/restart of Xcode, or Reboot fixes the problem. Since deleting the preferences file and restarting Xcode solves the problem (albeit with time wasted restoring my desired options), I surmise that the window position is being saved in the preferences, but I haven't had the desire to do a bunch of experimenting to find out which values to change and how. I'm probably missing a basic newbie Apple keyboard-control technique to move the screen. Does anyone know the preference items name to change, or can anyone enlighten me on how to move a window when the title bar is offscreen?
