I'm trying to move the "build" directory to be elsewhere. I changed the setting in my project, and everything gets put in the new place, except for the ___PROJECTNAME___.build/ ___PROJECTNAME___.pbxindex files. Those still get put into a "build" directory next to the project. Is there a separate setting for this? I couldn't find one.

Source Code Indexing User Defaults

Thanks. The docs say it's relative to OBJROOT by default. When I look at the Intermediate Build Files path in my project settings, it is relative to my Build Products Path. However, that's not where the pbxindex file ends up.

Checking:

$ defaults read com.apple.Xcode XCCodeSenseIndexBasePath
2009-08-12 17:24:37.810 defaults[34577:10b]
The domain/default pair of (com.apple.Xcode, XCCodeSenseIndexBasePath) does not exist

It seems that the default you to which you referred is not set on my system. Not sure if that's significant, but it does mean I haven't set it to anything else.

Is this a bug?
