Choose outline table column in IB 3.2

  • Subject: Choose outline table column in IB 3.2

I'm having my own WTF!SnowLeopard! moment today...

In an existing Xcode project targeted to 10.5, I had a XIB with a window with a NSOutlineView whose outlineTableColumn was connected to a column of the outline view (not the first column).

Today when I opened the XIB with IB 3.2, the file had a warning that the connection was no longer valid, and I can't find any way of specifying which column is the outline column. Did this capability go away (do I have to set the column in code?), or am I overlooking the obvious?

If I run the application using the previously compiled NIB (I didn't re-save the XIB yet) the outline column is the correct one, but I didn't see anything in the release notes to suggest why the IB behavior seems to be different now.
