Some things to try:
svn ls <repositoryurl>/path/to/xcodeprojectfile
to see if there is an rmann.pbxuser there. Pay special attention to the fact that repository paths are case senstive but paths on your file system probasbly aren't.
Also try checking out a completely clean working copy somewhere else and see if you still see the issue.
