Hello,
Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I am working on leopard with xcode 3.1.3

When working on leopard: Can I install SDK (and xcode) version 3.1.4 without complications to existing xcode-project files?

---------------------------

The alternative is to work on snow-leopard and install sdk 3.1.2 with xcode 3.2.1.
Are there any known complications when moving an existing xcode project from xcode 3.1.3 to xcode 3.2.1?

Thank you,
  Orna

For Leopard:
iPhone SDK 3.1.2 with Xcode 3.1.4

For Snow Leopard:
iPhone SDK 3.1.2 with Xcode 3.2.1

Since you're using Xcode 3.1.x, I'm assuming you're on Leopard.

Hello,

I was in the process of managing the iPhone device for testing an iPhone app.
In the Organizer window (inside xCode) I clicked on the iPhone's "Use for development" button and received the following error message:
"The version of the iPhone OS on "iPhone" does not match any of the versions of iPhone OS supported for development with this copy of xCode ...

The OS installed on the iPhone is: 3.1.2 (7D11)

XCode  latest possible supported version is: 3.0 (7A341).

------
I am working with XCode version 3.1.3.
------
The problem is:
Currently there are numerous applications installed on the iPhone.
Some of them will not work if I downgrade (restore the device) to version 3.0.
My question:
Will there be any damage to existing installed applications and their data if I restore the device's OS  to version 3.0 (for testing purpose) and then, at the end of testing, upgrade to version  3.1.2?

Thank you,
