FWIW, when manually renaming *simple* projects in the past, I found there were basically 3 things to attend to in the build settings:
1. The product name.
2. The precompiled header file name/location.
3. The info.plist source file name/location.
The trick is to change them at the right level of build settings. Typically they're in the target settings, but of course that may be different if the project is set up differently. (The "settings defined at this level" option is a big help for working this out.)
More complicated project structures may have more things to attend to.
