Hi Paul,
I do not know if it will work for me yet; breakpoints have gone back to working for the time being. However, I am trying to understand this problem as fully as possible because it has happened on quite a few occasions and I think it's inevitable that it will happen again. And although I corrected the problem today by deleting and re-creating the .xcodeproj directory, that is not a solution as most of my projects are much more complex. Re-creating those projects to get over a breakpoint problem would be very time-consuming and error prone.
If someone does know what sharedlibrary apply-load-rules all' is supposed to do, we're all ears. :-) (Also, I'd appreciate knowing why it isn't mentioned in the gdb manual, if someone happens to know that chapter of GNU lore.)
By the way, you mentioned using that command after hitting 'pause.' I hope this doesn't seem like a silly question, but how do you do that?
Thanks,
Soong

To be honest, I don't really know. I hit on it by
trial-and-error. Like you, I was tearing my hair out. Someone
on this list must know.
Did it work for you?
Rgds - Paul Sanders.

Hi Paul,
I found that 'sha app all' means 'sharedlibrary apply-load-rules
all' but I could not find the documentation for this command in
the GDB manual. References to it on Google seem to be for
unrelated topics.
What is this command supposed to do?
Thanks,
Soong
