iphone project keeps removing Executable

  • Subject: iphone project keeps removing Executable

I have an iphone project in xcode (3.1.2) with two targets. One for an
iPhone app, and one for a Cocoa shell executable.

My problem is that the executable for the command line tool keeps
disappearing. The target and product are still there, but the
executable disappears.

If I delete and recreate the target, it will come back.

So, my questions are:

1. anyone have any idea why it might be disappearing?
2. is there a way to get the executable back (in the Executables
group) without recreating the target.

I have had this problem in multiple projects, and sometimes the
executable and product isnt created when I first create the new
target.

Anyone have any idea what is going on?

mike
