I had gotten it working just a few weeks ago. It may be that I lost
track of why I had the two different provisioning bits and I may not
have named them so that it was clear which was which.
Perhaps an RTFM is called for, but an exception saying "0xE800003A"
certainly did not make that very clear....

Hi, folks,
I was trying to distribute one application. However, I always get
the following error.
"Your mobile device has encountered an unexpected error

I used the newly created distribution provision file, And I
created a new project and copy all the codes to the new project.
The application is built successfully but failed when it show
"trying install Application XXX on the Iphone".
I made sure I choose "iPhone Distribution : My Name" at the code
sign option..
by the way, I deleted the developer provision from the iphone, I
wonder if that will be the reason?
Any help will be appreciated.

Are Zhao and I the only ones who have hit this bug? The bug I filed
has been declared to be a dupe of another, so it has become a
complete black hole and there is no information coming out about
this at all.
I could delete Xcode and all my development tools and re-install
the previous version, but then of course I have no way to downgrade
my phone from 2.2.1 to 2.2. Is there really no workaround for this
at all?
Are other people able to get their apps provisioned and working? If
somebody could say that there is a way to make the 2.2.1 version of
the tools work, that would help. As it is, I have no idea whether I
am wasting my time or not.
thanx - ray
