How to run unit tests with Guard Malloc?

Hi all,

How does one run one's unit tests with guard malloc?

I've tried turning on Run > Enable Guard Malloc. I've tried setting the
environment variable DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES to /usr/lib/libgmalloc.dylib
on otest (listed in my project's executables). I conclude neither works
since my tests take 33 seconds regardless. I've searched the archives
and Chris Hanson's blog.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
