Are you using the command-line "shark" tool and also running it as
root? I'm guessing that unprivileged Shark (Shark.app or the tool)
is not allowed to sample a root-owned process.
Tried both launching the graphical Shark with sudo and running the
command-line shark under sudo. No change.
