When I took a project that had been edited in Xcode 3.1.2 and opened it in Xcode 2.5, it wouldn't compile anything, though there was no error message. The target has a compile sources build phase with plenty of files in it, but it gets skipped. And when I look at the build settings, there aren't any sections for GCC. Is there any way to fix it?

Open the project in Xcode 3.1.2 and check what the "project format" property in the general pane of the project inspector it set to. It needs to say "2.4" if you want to be compatible with Xcode 2.5, and it should also not indicate that there are any current conflicts.

Thanks, but it does say "Xcode 2.4-compatible", and the "Show Conflicts" button is dimmed.
