Hi All,
How do I debug a process that received Signal using gdb in Xcode.?
Thanks

You could try setting a breakpoint at some point in the code prior to where you think it's crashing, and step through.

I did have this happen to me before where even that was no help, and I *think* it was some leftover item in the Expressions window I had opened on the previous debug session which were causing the problem. I ran another app in the debugger, and removed all the items in Expressions (they don't show up unless the debugger is running), and then I was able to debug the problem app again.

To prevent this, I now sometimes remove everything in the Expressions window before I quit the debug session.

I have no idea if that's what really caused the problem, or if my prevention paradigm is valid or not, but it's my experience.

-Howard
