Has anyone gotten XCode to work with ccache? Seems like a no-braioner

I worked on this a while back (you should be able to find my messages
to the list about my progress in the archive). I never got it to work
with projects that used precompiled headers. I never tracked down
exactly why and it involved moving gcc and friends around in /usr/bin--
which is more than a little dubious.
What I did included some patches to get ccache to accept more options.
You should file a bug report with apple at <http://
bugreport.apple.com> asking for ccache integration. My own bug was <rdar://problem/4590714

more reports they get of people wanting a feature, the more Apple
knows where to focus their efforts...or so they say.
