File a feature request / enhancement at https://bugreport.apple.com

Kind regards,
Stephen.

Does the apple bug reporter take feature requests, too? If not, is there a URL for posting feature requests to the iPhone SDK (including the iPhone simulator)?
I'd like to ask that Apple consider providing a new feature in the iPhone simulator - an accelerometer-simulation window. This would be a small floating window next to the "iPhone".

It would consist of a small toolbar-type window whose rectangular content region would be black and its side in proportion to that screen of the iPhone, with a white circle at the center. The content region would change its orientation to reflect the simulated orientation of the "iPhone".
In practice, the user could simulate tilting the fake iPhone by dragging a vector arrow from the center circle towards the edge of the content region. The direction of the arrow would represent the vector direction of the (downward) tilt, and the length of the arrow would be the magnitude of the tilt. Finally, the user could drag the point of the arrow back inside the circle to "level" the iPhone. This seems like a lot better UI than fiddling with hitting keys on the keyboard.
