I've been using distributed builds in xcode for a while now with great
success, but a week or so ago they stopped working and I'm at my wit's
end.
I'm running os x 10.5.7, and before xcode 3.1.2. I'm distributing via
distcc, using Bonjour for discovery, and had been successfully giving
work to many other machines on my local subnet. About two weeks ago, I
upgraded to xcode 3.1.3, and now I can't distribute among any other
machines anymore.
I've used the Bonjour Browser utility to confirm that there are still the
same set of machines providing the xcodedistcc service on my subnet.
I've tried uninstalling 3.1.3 and reinstalling 3.1.2, but no dice (I'm now
back to 3.1.3). I've also noticed that if i trash my prefs file and run
xcode again, in the distributed build preferences a lot of machines
briefly appear in the available list, but then are immediately removed.
I can't find any other information about how to troubleshoot this. For
some reason xcode is seeing the available machines for distributed builds,
but is rejecting them. Can anyone please help me figure out what's going
on? Thanks,
