X-Code and Subversion

Does anyone know of a good tutorial for creating a SVN project under X- Code?
I'm using subversion 1.4.4 (r25188) and everything works fine from command line and from eclipse.
But as soon as I go to X-Code I run into privilege problems (couldn't create directory entry).
When I go to configure it says the repository is authenticated but I cannot import checkout nor add.
This is a simple standard tool template for a c cli program.
Thanks
Clark
