If you use doxygen it generates a makefile.

I have a few questions:

1) Is there any way to control the variables in this makefile. In particular I want to change DOCSET_INSTALL.

2) Is there any way to modify the commands that the makefile generates?

a. I was thinking of generating a makefile so that all my docsets are always created outside the html folder
