Code signing (and verifying) bundles that don't have any code

Using the code signing under Leopard, is it possible to sign a bundle that does not actually contain any executable code?

I have a bundle. which lives outside of the application, that contains nothing more than nib files, images, and the like. I'd like for my application, at run-time, to be able to look at the folder which contains those resources and verify that they have not changed since their bundle was created.

Is it possible to make use of code signing for that purpose?

Scott
