XCode 3.1.2 Crashing Regularly

Folks;
I've seen a huge number of XCode crashes in the last few weeks. (Since updating to 10.5.7 ??)
Intel Mac 10.5.7 4G RAM
As far as I can recall it happens while I am editing code NOT while I am running in debugger.
Cut and paste a block of code then begin changing the pasted code -> Blam.
XCode has been well behaved for quite some time but lately it is spooking me.
Do I have corruption in my project files?
What to do?
Steve
