Distributed build OS Build incompatibilities..

  • Subject: Distributed build OS Build incompatibilities..

Hi all,

I was trying to get my Core Duo 17" MBP to share the build load from XCode with my new UniBody 17" MBP, and they appear to have different OS Build numbers, hence they are listed as incompatible by XCode.

Both machine's OSs are completely up to date(10.5.6), and are running the same version of XCode. The 3.1 IPhone SDK version.

Is this a known issue? Will it be resolved at some point, or is there some reason that Macs with older Intel CPUs won't distribute builds with newer CPUs?

Seems a shame if the latter is the case.

Thanks.

Kind regards,
Stephen.
