I had wanted to use Parallel Target Building, but it wasn't working correctly in my large project due to a race condition...it would try to build something before a dependency was finished building.

Unless I am mistaken, this was/is a known problem and I was wondering if anyone knew if it had been fixed in Xcode 3.1.2.

How is the dependency set up?

There is a known problem in 3.1.2 and earlier about two targets attempting to build the same dependency at the same time and crashing, but this sounds different.
