Xcode concept of svn repositories

  • Subject: Xcode concept of svn repositories

Hi,

A bit of a meta-question here.

How tightly does the concept of a repository in Xcode map onto the svn concept of a repository?

I ask because, for example, you can set up 'repositories' in Xcode that map into arbitrary directories inside a given Subversion repository. But those Xcode 'repositories' don't represent actual Subversion repositories.

It seems fairly loose. Is this correct?

(I'm not complaining here, I'm just seeking to clarify my understanding.)

Thanks,

Jon
