I have a similar problem with iPhone development: I'd like to include certain files (artwork, in this case) based on the build *configuration*, but Xcode doesn't allow for this. (In iPhone dev, you have to make different configurations for debug/release sim, device, ad-hoc distro, store distro. Some of these require different artwork files to show up properly).
