kMDItemContentType -- can't get rid of old value

I changed the product name of a project, changed the Product Name in the
Build Tab, changed the target name, and as far as I can tell did everything
else I could. Still have the old name in kMDItemContentType when I run
mdls on a saved file from the project.

I've tried looking at everything I could find, ran
find . -iname ..|xargs grep -ei ... looking for the characters in the old
product name, without finding it.

Where the heck is it, and how can I change it?

my Xcode is 3.4.1, Leopard 10.5.8.

It's a small project, and it would be easy enough to move my code into a
new project, but I would like to know what's going on.

Thanks,

John Velman
