Export Instruments instrument?

  • Subject: Export Instruments instrument?

I've been creating a few custom DTrace instruments for use by my coworkers.  I've been able to share them by putting them all in an Instruments template and then sharing the template, but is there some way to just share a single instrument?  For example, if my coworker creates a new one that we want to add to the template, is there a way he can send it to me so I can add it with my other latest changes?

I've looked at the File -> DTrace Script Export… option, but that just produces a command-line executable which creates data that could then be imported into the instrument.  There's no way to actually import the instrument itself with that functionality, as far as I can tell.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

-BJ
