Broke for me when we went to Snow Leopard and associated Xcode, and has not worked since. Symptom is all the computers in the sharing list, including the running version of Xcode, show as Unavailable/Unavailable/Unreachable in the Distributed Builds Preferences. (i.e. computer can not communicate with itself, let alone other computers.)
I reported this as a bug (7204039), and it was closed as a duplicate (6149269). Report a bug too as a vote for a fix.
