I have some old xcode projects both from tutorials and school exercises. They no longer work on xcode 3+. How do I update these projects. The main error is that it cannot locate stdlib, math.h, etc.

Those haven't changed their location between Xcode 2.x and 3.x. But there are new SDKs, new compilers, new system defaults, etc. Perhaps if you'd drag and drop the "Compiling..." and error lines from your Build Results window into a reply posting we can see what's up with your project.
