I’d like to specify a directory as an input, and have the script run

Is it possible to do this using some sort of wildcard or regex syntax?
I’ve put the directory as an input file, but that only triggers the
script to re-run when the directory mod date is bumped, which isn’t
quite what I need.
Adding the directory as an input works for me, but only if the files
in that directory are 1) in the Xcode project, and 2) modified from
within Xcode, rather than from the terminal or another application.
I'm not sure if there is a workaround for this, but I'm very
interested in a solution as well. If there is no workaround, I'll
gladly file a bug (or dupe yours).
