Yes, gladly:
0) I have deleted the Xcode Preferences in ~/Library/Preferences/
com.apple.Xcode.plist for sake of testing
1) In Xcode 3.2.1, I choose the SCM -> Configure SCM Repositories…
Command
Result: SCM Configuration Window appears. List of repositories is
empty (as expected due to step 0)
2) I press the "+" ("Add a new repository or configuration" button
Result: A Dialog asking for the name and type of repository appears
3) I enter a name "foobar" and leave the type as "subversion"
Expected result: Repository "foobar" is listed in the window on the
left hand side, and I can edit the settings
Actual result: Dialog just disappears. Nothing is added to the list of
SCM repositories

While this is clearly a bug (and I will file it), is there any
remedy/workaround for this? (A TimeMachine Backup for this machine
exists)
Could you elaborate? Especially "the list" and "cannot". Explain
what you're seeing, what you try to do, and what actually happens.
