If you look in the View menu, there are separate commands for Next/
Previous File. You can use the key bindings editor in the prefs to
assign keystrokes to those, overriding the default Cmd-Opt-arrows if
you want.
The new mode is kind of a mixed blessing. I've long wanted the ability
to jump back after using a shortcut like Cmd-double-click to jump to
another location; but having it remember every single change in cursor
position becomes very annoying and usually gets in my way. I'd much
rather have it only remember movement made through shortcuts.
