vDSP_vabs/vDSP_vabsD failure since Xcode 3.2 upgrade

I just discovered that the functions vDSP_vabs and vDSP_vabsD no longer seem to work -- they are returning input values rather than absolute values as they should and as they had been doing for some time before I installed OS X 10.6 and Xcode 3.2. It's easy enough to work around this (though perhaps with less speed) but it raises an issue whether any other Accelerate framework functions are now inoperable.
