Hello, all.
Although I installed a developer's preview version of Snow Leopard /
Xcode 3.2 on my external HDD, I bought a retail version of Snow Leopard
yesterday and installed on my main HDD to replace Leopard.
What I found out from Xcode 3.2 was that the welcome screen was changed
very much.
But the most notable one was that there was no more local "Guideline" or
top page for development document.
The search result didn't reveal any guideline document. So, I took a
look at documents folder. Well, there are some documents there and they
are usually "reference" documents.
Instead, on a new document window, it guided me to connect to the
Apple's web based developer pages. And there, I could find guideline
documents and the entrance page which enlists things in categorized way.
Recently, it was annoying that updates on document window tried
downloading all the documents especially when Xcode is freshly
installed, and you know that there is no more recent document.
Probably is it the reason to changed to all web-hosted documents?
Sometimes, I am in situation where I can't connect to internet. Then I
can't lookup some documents which are only on Apple's web site.
Is there no way to make guide line document local?
Thank you.
