Hi Ned,

How does one turn on the hidden file option in the Xcode project or file window?

For example I like to create/open projects in /opt.

To make /opt visible in Finder you can run:

$ sudo SetFile -a v /opt

Or Command-Shift-G in any file dialog. Type /opt as path in the panel shown.
