Xcode 3.1.3 -- (not) stepping into

Has anyone observed failure to Step Into in the Xcode 3.1.3 debugger? This
happens to me frequently (with an Objective-C++ Cocoa app targeting
Leopard). The debugger does a Step Over and I have to set a breakpoint at
the destination to make the it halt.

[I have not yet had the chance to test this in SL.]

Is there a fix of some sort?
