Installing Xcode from the Snow Leopard install disk apparently removed the

[BEROR]error: There is no SDK with the name or path
'/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.3.9.sdk'

Without violating Chris's admonition about "install Xcode components from
previous releases atop Xcode 3.2.", how can I restore the ability to
develop for 10.3.9 under Snow Leopard?

BTW, I do have the project's Build settings set to:

GCC_Version_ppc = 4.0
MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_ppc = 10.3
SDKROOT_ppc = /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.3.9.sdk

Xcode 3.2 Release Notes

  • Xcode 3.2 doesn’t support building with GCC 3.3 or the 10.3.9 SDK. These components are not provided with Xcode 3.2 and cannot be installed in an Xcode 3.2 Developer folder.
