Obtaining old versions of XCode

  • Subject: Obtaining old versions of XCode

Hello,

I'm teaching a course on Programming in C. I'm asking my students to use gcc. One of them would like to work from a laptop, but they have an old version of the Mac OS (older than Leopard) and claims that the applications disk did not come with XCode.

So... how can I recommend getting XCode (and hence, gcc, right?) for this student?

(They haven't given me the exact version of their Mac OS yet..)

Thanks,
Marc
