Which DocSets to Get?

With Xcode 3.2, how does one determine which documentation sets should be downloaded? Do all the "newer" sets (e.g. 10.6 vs 10.5, iphone 3 vs 2.x, etc) include all legacy info, or may there be important information excluded in these "newer" sets?
