Han, thanks for the reply.
My layout is set to default. Is all-in-one the default?
The text editor is completely grayed-out with "No Editor" displayed.
In a specific debugging session:
Threads view shows "Thread-1" and three active items and
Variable view shows a full list of Arguments, Locals, Globals,
Registers, Vector Registers, and x87 Registers appropriate for the
breakpoint in question.

dct,
Are you using all-in-one mode?
Can you show me a picture of the debugger window in action, that
is, with the Threads and Variable view working? It could be that the
text editor is collapsed.
thanks, Han Ming

Since upgrading to OS X 10.6, Xcode 3.2 my Debugger Window fails to
display source code in the Text Editor pane (however the Thread
List and Variable List panes do display as expected).
Source code does display properly in the Project Window.
GenerateDebug Symbols is checked in the Build settings.
Any ideas how I might get the Text Editor up and running?
